'Great standup, but this is a serious issue': CNN's Jake Tapper bashes Trump for joking about Kavanaugh's drinking problems

On Monday, as the world awaits the conclusions of the FBI probe, President Donald Trump joked about his drinking habits, decidedly unlike Brett Kavanaugh's. Trump, whose older brother died from alcoholism-linked health problems, has famously never had an alcoholic beverage.

"I'm not a drinker," the president said. "It's one of my only good traits," he joked. "I've never had alcohol," he said. "Could you imagine if I drank, how upset they'd be? I'd be the world's worst."

"It's good standup, but this is a serious issue, "Jake Tapper observed, noting that we're talking about an alleged sexual assault likely linked to Kavanaugh's drinking habits.
