Gun-toting Florida racist threatens to kill landscapers because of grass clippings: police

A Florida man has been arrested for threatening to kill employees of a lawn care company because he was upset with grass clippings on his walkway, according to local media reports.

Anthony Sabella, 48, was arrested on charges of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The lawn care company provides services to Sabella’s next door neighbor, according to the sheriff's office. He called the company to complain that employees had gotten grass on his walkway.

When the employees returned to clean up the grass clippings, Sabella allegedly confronted them and threatened to kill them.

The employees left in their vehicle, but were followed by Sabella. He pulled up next to them at a stop sign, raised a black handgun and pointed it at each of them while yelling racial slurs, the sheriff's office said.
