‘He was relentless’: Former business partner tells horrific story about Trump's attempt to rape her

On the heels of Donald Trump's 2005 hot mic scandal, The New York Times is reporting that another woman is coming out about being groped by the Republican candidate for president.

According to the story, Jill Harth was with her longtime boyfriend, who was doing a deal for a business partnership, when she was invited to join the two for dinner. When she sat down between the men at dinner, she alleges Trump's hand moved up her skirt and between her legs.

“He was relentless,” she said about the 1992 incident. “I didn’t know how to handle it. I would go away from him and say I have to go to the restroom. It was the escape route.”

In a deposition she gave in a sexual harassment lawsuit, Harth alleged, “He name-dropped continuously when he wasn’t groping me.”

Harth and her boyfriend ran a small Florida company called American Dream Enterprise and also ran a small beauty contest, auto show, music competition and various other events. They were meeting with Trump because they wanted to have some of their events in Trump's hotels. Harth didn't want to upset Trump by complaining about the advances and compromise their business deal.

In the first meeting, the couple says that Trump spent a majority of his time talking about the breasts he sees in beauty contests. At one point, Trump asked Harth's boyfriend, George Houraney, “Are you sleeping with her?”

Trump ultimately told the couple their deal was in jeopardy because "I'm very attracted to your girlfriend," the 1997 sexual harassment lawsuit alleged.

Just a month after the first meeting, Jan. 24, 1993, the couple, along with some of the "calendar girls" from the beauty contest, went to Mar-a-Lago to sign a contract for their event. Trump allegedly grabbed Harth and pulled her into his daughter's empty bedroom.

“I was admiring the decoration, and next thing I know he’s pushing me against a wall and has his hands all over me,” Harth said. “He was trying to kiss me. I was freaking out.” Harth tried to get away and told Trump no. She got out of the room, found the group she was with and she and her boyfriend left.

According to the lawsuit, Trump showed up at the bedroom of one of the young women in the early morning hours. She kicked him out but was understandably uncomfortable and shaken up. Trump continued pursuing some of the other girls. Though, Harth noted he didn't seem too keen on the black women, and would make insulting comments about them.

The couple tried to continue doing business with Trump, but Harth kept having to defend herself against his advances. “He’d say, ‘Let’s go in my room, I want to lie down,’ and he’d pull me along. I’d say, ‘I don’t want to lie down,’ and it would turn into a wrestling match. … I remember yelling, ‘I didn’t come here for this.’ He’d say, ‘Just calm down.’”

She feared being raped. Trump weighed twice as much as she did. Harth did say that Trump was never violent but she was still frightened. “His mind was in a totally different place than mine,” she said. “He thinks he’s God’s gift to women.”

Despite Harth enduring a "very traumatic" ordeal attempting to maintain the business relationship, Trump walked away from the deal in 1994, refusing to pay what he owed to them.

Houraney sued for breach of contract and Trump ultimately settled for more than $100,000. Harth filed her sexual harassment suit alleging attempted rape.

The couple split up soon after. While they haven't talked in years, the New York Times confirmed that their stories are the same.

After falling into a deep depression after the death of her brother, Harth said that Trump began calling her to console her. He offered plane tickets for her to visit him in New York. She wondered if he could help her find a new job. In 1998 she started dating him.

“I was scared, thinking, ‘what am I going to do now?’” she explained. “When he called me and tried to work on me again, I was thinking maybe I should give this a try, maybe if he’s still working on me, I should give this rich guy a chance.”

She says he was a disappointment as a boyfriend, who wasn't very supportive and sat around watching television.

“It was a hard divorce, and I was in a nonstop crying jag,” she said. “You know what he was thinking? He wanted me to get a boob job. He made an appointment for me to get a boob job, a doctor in Miami.”

Soon after, Trump began seeing Melania.

The Trump campaign didn't respond to any of the NYT's questions.
