Defense Secretary hit out late Sunday at demands that he be fired after a bombshell report claimed he's shared confidential attack plans on Signal for a second time — on this occasion, with his wife and brother.
The embattled head of the Pentagon reacted to a tweet from the account Democrats.org demanding that he goes.
But instead of focusing on accusations against him, Hegseth slammed what he claimed were Democrat policies.
“@PeteHegseth needs to go," the Democrats' account stated.

Hegseth responded: "Your agenda is illegals, trans & DEI — all of which are no longer allowed @ DoD."
The X post comes amid reports that claim the Defense Secretary used his personal phone to send information about U.S. military operations in a 13-person Signal group chat, including his wife and brother.
It followed earlier reports of a similar Signal chat, that time including the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic. Both instances were about operations in Yemen.
The New York Times first reported the second Signal chat.
