House Democratic chairman has a blistering rebuke for Trump's Mueller tantrum

When Attorney General William Barr first released the summary of special counsel Robert Mueller's report on Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, President Donald Trump at first appeared to endorse the idea of the full report being made available to Congress and the public.

Now, however, he has gone sour on the idea, complaining in a Tuesday morning tweet about Democratic House committee chairs' interest in obtaining documents related to the investigation:

But House Intelligence Committee chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) is unimpressed by the president's outburst. According to Politico, he fired back at Trump for his apparent fear of what the report contains:

"It looks like the president ... is concerned about that. He ought to live up to what he said earlier," said House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) "He ought to support the full release. None of that should be redacted. But clearly he’s concerned about that coming out. If he is feeling so confident about what [the report] says, then you would think he would urge its full release. But clearly he’s not. And you’d have to ask him why."

Trump has trained his ire on Schiff in particular in recent days, with his campaign even going so far as to launch a line of "Pencil-Neck Adam Schiff" T-shirts.
