How ’The Simpsons' is going to ridicule Trump University — with Mr. Burns' for-profit college scam

"The Simpsons" was the television show that predicted Donald Trump would announce a run for president after riding down his golden escalator at Trump Tower. The show is taking aim at Trump again by creating a scam school run by rich businessman Montgomery Burns.

Titled "The Caper Chase," the episode will show Mr. Burns starting a for-profit university and forcing his own employees at the power plant to serve as professors. Even Homer will become a professor.

"I think it holds up if you've heard of Trump University or not," showrunner Al Jean was quoted saying in the Wall Street Journal. "The for-profit colleges aren't going away. We try to do things that are funny to people watching them then, but I always try to think of things that will be funny five years from now."

The episode, however, won't air until 2017, well after the November election, but will include voices from Neil deGrasse Tyson, Suze Orman, Jeopardy! champion Ken Jennings and Seinfeld star Jason Alexander.

The 28th season of the show will feature another Halloween special this year in its "Treehouse" series and the family will go on a trip to Cuba.

The Simpsons have already weighed in on the 2016 election, showing what a Trump presidency would look like when catastrophe hits at 3 a.m. Marge stages her own protest by withholding sex from Homer until he agrees not to vote for Trump. Last season, the show mocked "Robot Rubio" and insult-spewing Trump with a special debate episode.
