A "primary patron" of Hunter Biden's since his father became president has agreed to be questioned by the three House committees leading the impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden, The New York Post reported.
Known as Hunter's "sugar brother," Hollywood lawyer Kevin Morris was key in procuring income sources for Hunter from China and Ukraine, among others.
"Morris gave or loaned at least $4.9 million to cover back taxes and living expenses for the now-53-year-old Hunter, including doling out $875,000 for his novice art and allegedly purchasing his 10% stake in Chinese state-owned investment fund BHR Partners during Joe Biden’s first year in the White House," the New York Post reported.
The House GOP's attempt to impeach Biden centers on business dealings of Biden’s family members. It has yet to offer evidence of wrongdoing by the president.

Republicans allege that Morris was motivated by politics rather than friendship, and his transactions with Hunter amount to an illegal campaign contribution. As evidence, they point to an email Morris wrote to accountants on Hunter's behalf, telling them to speed up their work on tax issues to avoid “considerable risk personally and politically.”
