Federal prosecutors have filed new charges against Hunter Biden, according to CNN on Thursday.
The court documents have not yet been released, making the nature of the charges unknown. However, reported Evan Perez, "Special counsel David Weiss, in recent weeks, has been using a federal grand jury in Los Angeles to gather testimony and evidence on possible criminal tax charges against President Joe Biden’s son."
This comes as Hunter Biden already faces charges related to improperly purchasing a gun when he was suffering from drug addiction.

Previously, a plea deal had reportedly been worked out between Hunter Biden and Weiss, but that fell through near the end stages over a misunderstanding about protection from future charges.
Republicans have made Hunter Biden the center of their impeachment investigation into President Joe Biden, whom they are trying to prove laundered international bribes through his son's overseas business ventures.
However, no evidence to support this has yet emerged.
