Internet explodes with outrage at Jeff Sessions' replacement: 'Whitaker must recused himself IMMEDIATELY!'

President Donald Trump Wednesday announced the resignation of Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Session's departure following the midterm elections was expected. Nevertheless, his exit raised alarm about the Russia probe being conducted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

Twitter users reacted with shock and dismay. Yet, others pointed to Sessions' own racist history in a bid to avoid the deification of other lawmakers who've parted ways with the President.
