Jared Kushner is an ‘entirely plausible liar’: Biographer says it’s what makes him ‘so dangerous’

White House senior advisor Jared Kushner was praised for his deception skills on MSNBC -- by his own biographer.

Kushner biographer Vicky Ward was interviewed by MSNBC chief legal correspondent Ari Melber on his show, "The Beat."

The host played a clip of Kushner whitewashing the role Russia played during the 2016 presidential election. Kushner has been widely panned for the remarks, with Fox News anchor Shepard Smith having said on air, "Kushner's diminishment of Russian interference is deceptive."

"I think what you saw this morning was a master class by Jared Kushner, he is an entirely plausible liar," Ward said.

Ward is the author of the 2019 book Kushner, Inc.: Greed. Ambition. Corruption. The Extraordinary Story of Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump.

"You have to separate style from substance, his style was smooth, polished," she explained. "This is what makes him so dangerous."

"You listen to what he says and it is terrifying, right?" she continued.

Melber asked Ward about Shepard Smith's remarks on Fox News.

"Good for Shep Smith, right? He called it right," she argued.

"I would say for Jared Kushner, it is probably not great when you lose Fox News -- you've kind of reach the end of the line," she added.
