Jewish political strategist crushes the hypocritical GOP after Republican quotes Hitler on the House floor

Joel Rubin, president of the Washington Strategy Group, slammed the "shameful" Republican Party, telling MSNBC the GOP was using anti-Semitism as a "political cudgel" against the Democratic Party.

"Shameful, shameful that Republicans are using anti-Semitism as a cudgel for political benefit," said Rubin after host Chris Jansing told him how specific Republicans were planning to leverage the issue. "I didn't hear them call out Representative Mo Brooks yesterday for reciting lines from Mein Kampf by Hitler."

"This is over the line," Rubin continued angrily. "American Jews voted 80% for Democrats in the last election, 32 of 34 members of Congress are Jewish, I myself as a Jewish American am a Democrat and proud to be connected to the state of Israel."

"It's despicable that members of Congress believe that this is somehow a way to get a couple seats or maybe raise some more money," he said dismissively.

"I do think that that is a cold calculation here in that they're attempting to wedge out, as the discussion has been, moving Jews away from the Democratic Party by using Israel as a political, not as a football, but as a political land mine."
