Democrats in the House of Representatives are claiming that the battle to get rid of President Joe Biden from the ticket will be "resolved" in three to five days, CBS News reported.
Reporter Major Garrett said that two anonymous senior House Democrats expect action soon. Biden has been working at home in Delaware because he has COVID-19, and his public statements have suggested that he will be staying in the presidential race.

"Each day of indecision will lead to more public calls for him to step aside. Of course the caveat is — and has always been— that the choice is totally up to Biden," said Garrett's CBS colleague Weijia Jiang.
If Biden decides to step down, it will leave Vice President Kamala Harris on the ticket. Any candidate who is not Harris would be forced to start a new campaign account, fundraise hundreds of millions of dollars, and mount a national effort in less than four months, according to various political experts.
