John Oliver rips 'childish' Trump's third debate and Al Smith dinner disasters

On Sunday night's edition of Last Week Tonight, host John Oliver blasted Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump's "childish" performance at the third and final presidential debate.

"'You're the puppet' sounds like something a teenage Pinocchio would yell at Geppetto," Oliver said.

As to Trump's refusal to say for sure whether he will accept the election results in November, Oliver deadpanned, "“I’ll tell you whether my supporters will plunge the country into anarchy...after the break.”

The Al Smith charity dinner, which Oliver said should have been an easy venue for Trump, whose stage patter is more suited to Borsht Belt comedy than politics, was another humiliating failure for Trump.
