Jon Stewart agrees with you: People bothered by 'emailgate' won’t vote for Hillary Clinton anyway

Daily Show host Jon Stewart scoffed at the questions surrounding former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's email use on Wednesday, arguing that they won't make any difference if she runs for president.

"You think maybe her wrong email address-ghazi will be a big boost to her Democratic primary rival, TBD?" he asked sarcastically. "Or perhaps this will affect Hillary Clinton's standing with Republicans in the general election, who pretty much already believe her and her husband to be treasonous, murdering grift-asauruses? Personally, I think her email trouble helps sew up the senior vote -- they can relate."

The New York Times reported on Monday that Clinton only used personal email during her tenure in office, while releasing 55,000 pages of correspondence to the department in accordance with federal regulations.

Stewart noted that among the items Clinton excluded were memos discussing her daughter Chelsea's wedding, saying, "I believe it is a sign that you have been in government too long when you write memos about your daughter's wedding."

Clinton weighed in on the issue late Wednesday night, posting a statement on her Twitter account:

But Stewart was not buying the idea that the story about Clinton's email was a scandal and not a "nerd slam," considering the long reach of the National Security Agency.

"Don't we have a facility in Utah that collects all of our emails, anyway, solving the whole archive problem?" he asked. "Can't you just ask them, or they don't f*cking talk to you, either?'
