Kansas boy dealing with bullying, racism brought knife to school. Now he faces a felony

He was called the n-word. He was turned away from a table of white students. He was told to “go back to picking cotton.” But after reporting these acts of racism to school officials in the rural town of Ottawa, Kansas, the mother of the 12-year-old bi-racial boy being targeted said her son didn’t trust adults at the school to protect him from his bullies.
