Kathy Griffin pummels Trump for John McCain tribute: 'Take his name out of your mouth you piece of sh*t'

Comedian Kathy Griffin lashed out at Donald Trump late Saturday after the President issued a brief tweet noting the death of Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) who succumbed to brain cancer at his Arizona home.

Griffin was responding to Trump's tweet stating, "My deepest sympathies and respect go out to the family of Senator John McCain. Our hearts and prayers are with you!"

She then called out the president for his previous treatment of the war hero.

“Take his name out of your mouth you piece of sh*t. You maligned his military service while you did everything to avoid serving. You attacked him repeatedly while you knew he was dying. And you cozied up to Putin while he did everything he could to oppose him. F*ck You,” Kathy Griffin tweeted.
