Sex rumor causes Katie Miller to lose it on ex-GOP adviser: 'Slanderous'

Katie Miller, the wife of White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, publicly denied a sexual rumor about her and Steve Bannon on Thursday after Lincoln Project co-founder Rick Wilson mocked her on X, the Daily Beast reported.

The exchange began over the Texas Senate race. Responding to a clip of Democratic Senate nominee James Talarico pointing to Elon Musk’s donations to Republican candidates such as Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R-TX), Miller posted a photo of LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman. “This is the guy bankrolling Talarico,” she wrote.

Wilson, a former Republican campaign consultant, replied with a crude joke linking Miller to Bannon, 72, the former Trump White House adviser, and declaring her “opinion invalid,” according to the Daily Beast.

According to Wilson, "You felt the gravid flesh of Steve Bannon in the throes of passion. Opinion invalid."

Miller, 35, answered within the hour. “This is bulls--- and slanderous. Steve and I met once at a Trump event years ago with thousands of people,” she wrote. “The support-all-women leftists love to spread lies and denigrate women.”

The Daily Beast noted that Miller and Bannon "have never been romantically linked." Wilson did not immediately respond to a request for comment, and the outlet reported no response from Bannon’s “War Room” podcast. A representative for Hoffman also did not respond when asked what Miller’s post of his photo was meant to show.

Texas is shaping up as one of the most closely watched Senate races of the cycle. Musk gave more than $150 million in September to the Senate Leadership Fund, a Republican super PAC, which sent matching amounts to Texas PAC, a group set to spend nearly $160 million on ads backing Paxton, according to Federal Election Commission filings reported by KRDO. Two new polls show no clear leader in the race for the seat now held by Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX), the station reported.
