Rep. Keith Self (R-TX) was met with chants of "do your job" at a town hall on Saturday.
Self is just the latest to receive such treatment, coming the same day as Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) was called a coward as he departed the stage at a town hall in Kansas over the weekend where he was asked about how federal cuts are harming veterans.
Democratic insider Aaron Fritschner posted a video from Self’s town hall in Wylie, Texas, over the weekend, adding, "Another large, angry crowd at a Republican town hall in a deep red district."

Part of Self's interaction was also posted publicly by The Tennessee Holler, and shared by non-profit newsroom Texas Signal.
"In North Texas Congressman Keith Self is having a hard time selling Elon Musk's cuts and layoffs," the Signal wrote.
In local reporting, the Princeton Herald reported that Self was "often interrupted by boos."
Local Republicans, on the other hand, took to social media to complain about the protestors.
"This morning, Congressman Keith Self hosted a town hall to connect with constituents, but unfortunately, many Democrats showed up only to cause disruptions. We’ve seen multiple videos where, instead of engaging in meaningful discussion, protesters resorted to shouting over his responses," they wrote. "This behavior is unfair to the many residents who attended to learn more about the issues that impact our community. Now more than ever, we must stand together!"
