‘Kill the music’: Don Lemon stops everything to hammer home ‘this isn’t normal’ after Trump’s tweets

"Can we kill the music please," CNN host Don Lemon began in his segment about President Donald Trump's tweets about MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski's appearance earlier Thursday morning.

"I have heard and said the phrase 'this is not normal' so many times that I'm sick of hearing it and sick of saying it," Lemon continued. "What the president did today was just flat-out gross and disgusting. Saying it was juvenile would be insulting to children."

He went on to claim that any child or employee who exhibited behavior like Trump's "would be disciplined." He cut to Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders' defense of the misogynist attacks that claimed the press response to his statements make it feel like "living in the Twilight Zone."

"Yes, it is like living in the Twilight Zone," Lemon continued. "The president should be ashamed of himself -- but he's not."

"His actions show that he apparently doesn't care about you or America or the dignity of the office," he continued.
