Late night comedian destroys Trump for saying George Washington was ‘stupid’

On Wednesday, comedian Seth Meyers ridiculed President Donald Trump after he tried to take a jab at George Washington.

According to Politico, Trump visited Mount Vernon last year with French President Emmanuel Macron. Trump was not impressed with George Washington's home and other landmarks.

"If he was smart, he would've put his name on it," Trump said. "You've got to put your name on stuff or no one remembers you."

"He said that before "returning to Washington D.C.," Meyers joked.
