An explosive focus group revealed Friday that President Donald Trump's troubles with Latino voters go far beyond wallet worries — and it spells disaster for his political future.
Seven Latino voters who backed Trump in 2024 completely flipped, Notus reported, expressing buyer's remorse over aggressive immigration enforcement, soaring costs, and what they see as "sinister and out of control."
"It just seems like the mask is off," one female participant in her 30s declared. "That's who he is. And it's kind of crazy."
The Navigator Research focus group, viewed by NOTUS, exposed a growing fury over Trump's ICE crackdowns and foreign interventions. One 40-something male voter admitted he thought Trump would pivot back to being a maverick once in office, but instead discovered a completely different person.
"But it's not the same person. It's not the same president. So it's been very dismaying," he said.
A whopping 70% of Latinos now disapprove of Trump, according to an October Pew Research Survey, with 65% specifically opposing his immigration policies.
When it comes to Immigration and Customs Enforcement, a stunning 68% of Latinos think the agency is too aggressive, a Navigator survey published this week showed. Meanwhile, 69% disapprove of the agency entirely.
To boot, every single focus group participant gave his second term a grade of "D" or "F." One man compared Trump's immigration enforcement to creating "his own Gestapo." Another declared that "[Trump Derangement Syndrome] actually has come to fruition. He actually is a wolf in sheep's clothing."
