Leaked texts from Jeff Bezos came from his mistress and her Trump-loving brother: report

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos suspected that his mistress' brother was the source of the leaked photos sold to the National Enquirer. The wealthiest man in the world wasn't far off, according to a new report from The Daily Beast.

The mistress, Lauren Sanchez, reportedly gave the text messages and photos to the National Enquirer according to sources in AMI. Another source in contact with senior leaders at AMI confirmed brother Michael Sanchez was the one who handed over the messages.

“The story was given to the National Enquirer by a reliable source that had given information to the National Enquirer for seven years prior to this story. It was a source that was well known to both Mr. Bezos and Ms. Sanchez,” said AMI attorney Elkan Abramowitz on ABC’s George Stephanopoulos Sunday.

Based on his Twitter feed, Michael Sanchez is a strong supporter of President Donald Trump.

Bezos launched his own investigation, according to his Thursday Medium post.

“Our investigation into who initially provided texts to the National Enquirer, and why it was done—that investigation is now complete. We have turned our conclusions over to our attorneys for referral to law enforcement,” Bezos' investigator de Becker told The Beast.

AMI entered into a cooperation agreement with Robert Mueller that required they not commit any illegal acts, no matter how small. MSNBC's Rachel Maddow warned that the extortion of Bezos could destroy that agreement and charges could not be brought against AMI for all of the actions they've taken over the past years Mueller has uncovered.

Bezos could also sue personally.

The Daily Beast headlined their story saying that it was the brother, however, the photos came from Ms. Sanchez prior to that.
