LeBron James: Winner of NBA finals won't be going to the White House

Cavaliers basketball player LeBron James on Tuesday expressed support for Eagles NFL players who were disinvited from a White House event after many threatened not to attend.

James, who is facing the Warriors in the finals, told reporters that the winner of the series would not be going to the White House. He said that it was "typical" of President Donald Trump to rescind the entire team's invitation because some of the players refused to attend.

James also argued that winning a championship is "way bigger than getting to the White House, especially with [Trump] in there."
