'I don't do CPAC': MAGA activist slams conservative event as 'a waste of time and money'

Donald Trump loyalists may have taken over CPAC, but at least one of the ex-president's most ardent supporters is rejecting the event.

Activist Laura Loomer, a staunch ally of Trump, recently warned fellow MAGA supporters against donating to a GoFundMe created in support of paying Trump's legal fees.

Now, she's turning her sights to the Conservative Political Action Conference.

"Some people chose to waste their week at CPAC listening to Republicans bloviate instead of taking action," Loomer said Thursday. "I don’t do CPAC. It’s a waste of time and money."

She continued:

"I don’t need to pay to listen to people who are 3 years behind me when it comes to being aware of the issues at hand. I don’t find value in anything anyone at CPAC has to say and it’s bad for your energy to surround yourself with people who intellectually bring you down. You need to be around people who are equally yoked when it comes to your work ethic and intellect."

Instead, Loomer said that she "decided to come to Panama to report on the invasion of the US."

The activist added:

"This has been a much better use of my time than pretending to be interested in boring speeches that have no value. Let me know if anyone actually accomplishes anything at CPAC though. I don’t think it’s ever happened. But there’s always a first for everything I suppose."

A follower told Loomer, "You are awesome. But try not to burn your bridges as you go."

She replied, "I don’t need any of these people. They tried to destroy me for the last 7 years and I still came out on top. I’ve got some more gasoline if they are interested."
