MTG's fashion advice for conservative women blows up in her face

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) took a break Thursday from propping up former President Donald Trump's reelection bid to offer up an "unpopular opinion" about women's fashion.

On her X social media account, the always controversial lawmaker suggested conservative Christian woman need to do a better job of dressing and acting modestly.

And she warned, "It’s also good to not tempt your Christian brothers and cause them to stumble."

In total, the recently-divorced Georgia Republican who was reportedly involved in multiple affairs with a "tantric sex guru" and the manager of a gym she used in 2012 while married, wrote, "There are many conservative Christian women, who are influencers or leaders, that are selling themselves short and not being good role models by conforming to the world’s sexualization of women.

"If you are conservative and a Christian you know you don’t have to express yourself in sexual ways and you know you are attractive by dressing nice and feminine, and you can be beautiful and modest at the same time."

She added, "Men will respect you more and think of you much more highly than just a sexual object for gratification. It’s also good to not tempt your Christian brothers and cause them to stumble. As conservative Christian women let us always be an example to girls and young women by displaying actions that our faith believes and not conform to the patterns of this fallen world. Be the light, don’t fall into the darkness."

Needless to say, critics were quick to point out her past adulterous ways, to say nothing of her less-than-modest demeanor since she has been in Congress.

With the first commenter on X writing, "Irony has lost all meaning," another chimed in with, "A serial adulterer has some thoughts about being good role models. These jokes just write themselves."

Greene's dalliances were brought up multiple times, with one commenter writing, "Didn’t you cheat on your husband? I guess that’s typical for the Mar-a-Lago crowd."

Commenter @KARMASABLEEP, contributed, "Are you blaming women for a man's inability to keep it in his pants, or even worse, blaming a woman for being sexually assaulted? You are beyond horrible, you are EVIL."

Cathy V wrote, "This sounds like the exact speech they give to women in cults."

"The adulterer speaks," wrote @MoMoDdotcom.

@elle_kaye11 suggested, "Didn’t you cheat on your husband? Didn’t Lauren Boebert give a hand job in the middle of a movie theater? You’ve turned into a group of clowns. Please don’t bring Jesus into this."

A commenter who goes by liberalpuppy shared a photo of Taylor Greene at Mar-a-Lago with her daughter showing more than a bit of cleavage and wrote, "Sure Marge…cover up the merchandise."
