'Mass exodus' of Trump supporters left well before his Michigan speech was over

Supporters of Donald Trump wanted to see the Republican nominee for president speak, but not when it comes to dealing rush hour traffic in the Michigan suburb.

According to Washington Post reporter Jenna Johnson, many Trump supporters were seen crossing a field to get to their cars, telling her that they walked out because they wanted to beat the traffic.

Others were frustrated by how hot and crowded the rally site was, saying that the heat was so bad they felt so ill they simply couldn't take it anymore.

Trump has cited his rally crowds as evidence that he's actually winning, despite polls showing he is slipping in key battleground states. Unlike Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), however, Trump has shied away from hosting rallies in large arenas.

Trump began his speech focusing on the African American vote, claiming that after four years in office he'll have 95 percent support among black voters. #BlackTwitter and others on social media erupted with mockery.
