First lady Melania Trump's top aide was brutally mocked on Tuesday after he made a wild claim during an interview on NewsMax.
Marc Beckman, a senior aide to the first lady, claimed during the interview that Melania Trump was "the most consequential first lady in [the] history of our nation." He cited her work with "kids all over the place," and argued that she has had substantive influence on the peace process between Ukraine and Russia.
"If you look at everything that NATO has done, all of the world leaders, what more substantive has occurred?" he said.
Beckman's comments drew swift mockery online.
