Michael Cohen talked with Mueller investigators 'for hours' as they asked about Trump colluding with Russia: ABC News

Over the last month, President Donald Trump's former attorney Michael Cohen reportedly spent hours cooperating with special counsel Robert Mueller's investigators.

According to a report from ABC News, Cohen has been in multiple interview sessions pertaining to the Russia probe into the 2016 presidential election.

The questioning was related to Trump's dealings with Russia and potential collusion with Russia by the Trump campaign, sources told ABC News. The investigators also reportedly asked whether Trump or any of his associates discussed the possibility of a pardon.

Cohen, who once said he "would take a bullet for the president," voluntarily participated in the interviews, according to ABC. He is also cooperating with a separate investigation into the Trump Foundation.

In August, Cohen pleaded guilty to charges of bank fraud, tax fraud and campaign finance violations. He claimed he made an illegal campaign contribution with Trump’s knowledge and direction.
