New video shows Trump supporters assaulting Officer Michael Fanone beneath 'Blue Lives Matter' flag

New footage from the Jan. 6 insurrection shows Donald Trump supporters shocking police Officer Michael Fanone with a stun gun.

The clip will air Wednesday night in the HBO documentary, "Four Hours at the Capitol," which details the violent assault that nearly killed Fanone, left five people dead and injured 138 other police officers.

"Get his ass!" shouts someone in the mob, after Fanone was identified as a member of the Metropolitan police department.

A "Blue Lives Matter" flag blows in the breeze as Trump supporters violently assault the police officer, who suffered a heart attack and other near-fatal injuries in the assault.

The documentary was directed by Jamie Roberts and produced by Dan Reed in association with the BBC.
