Mike Lindell could face sanctions as trial judge orders him to stop interviews

U.S. District Court Judge Nina Y. Wang reportedly ordered MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell to stop all interviews and social media posts about his defamation trial.

Attorneys for former voting machine executive Eric Coomer notified Wang that Lindell had flouted the court's order against posting to social media from inside the federal courtroom.

"During the lunch break on June 3, 2025, Plaintiff learned Mr. Lindell's X account, 'RealMikeLindell' continued to post throughout the court proceedings," attorney Ashley N. Morgan said in a seven-page notice to the court.

Lindell was also seen doing live interviews during lunch breaks on his LindellTV network.

"If I'm the jury, I'm kind of bored," Lindell told his audience on Tuesday, referring to Coomer's testimony.

According to Colorado Politics, Wang gave Lindell a verbal warning on Wednesday.

"On Wednesday morning, Wang reminded Lindell not to post to social media, issue public statements or give any further interviews about the trial. She said she was concerned about the effect such communications could have on witnesses and jurors," the report said. "Lindell verbally agreed to refrain from that conduct."

The pillow executive was noticeably absent from his network's Wednesday morning broadcast. Lindell could face court sanctions if he continues to flout the judge's order, Colorado Politics noted.

"The judge declined to hold Lindell in contempt but issued a verbal warning," LindellTV said in a statement. "LindellTV is not subject to this restriction under First Amendment protections, but has been advised to avoid covering live or completed testimony to protect the integrity of proceedings."
