Mike Lindell's lawyers quit after he admits he can't pay 'millions' in legal debts

Two lawyers representing MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell have notified the court that they are withdrawing as his attorneys because he can't pay his debts.

In a court filing on Thursday, attorney Andrew Parker said that he and Nathan Lewin both wished to withdraw representation for Lindell and MyPillow. Parker's 16-attorney firm, Parker Daniels Kibort, was hired to represent Lindell and his company in defamation cases brought by Smartmatic and Dominion Voting Systems.

While Lindell initially paid his monthly bills, Parker said the payments began to slow in 2023.

"No payment has been made for PDK's July 2023 and August 2023 invoices in the above-captioned case," the attorney wrote. "A similar situation exists in the Dominion and Coomer cases."

"On October 2, 2023, PDK was informed by Defendants that they are not able to get caught up with or make any payment on the large amount they owe in arrears nor pay for anywhere near the estimated expense of continuing to defend against the lawsuits going forward, including either the legal fees or litigation costs," the filing stated.

The document revealed that Lindell owed "millions" in legal debts.

"Defendants have indicated that they understand PDK's position, do not object, and are in the process of finding new counsel," the filing concluded.
