National Security Advisor Mike Waltz used a private Gmail email address for official government business, according to a Tuesday report, and critics demanded Republicans investigate.
The eyebrow-raising Washington Post report comes after a separate report in The Atlantic that Waltz and other officials in President Donald Trump's administration used an unsecured Signal chat to discuss military actions in Yemen.
After years of GOP attacks on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for using a private email server for official communications.
"But...her emails?" asked political analyst Wajahat Ali.

"Everything they attacked Hillary for and more," said former Google product manager Jason Febery.
Software engineer Alex Cole complained, "Hillary Clinton had eight separate investigations by Republicans over this exact thing, and how can Republicans possibly excuse Mike Waltz doing the same thing?"
"He will be looking for a new job soon," posted Lev Parnas, known for being a former "henchman" for Rudy Giuliani.
Comedian Stacy Cay returned the often-used attack on Clinton for the new Waltz scandal. "Lock him up," she posted on X.
"Yet another sloppy, reckless sign of incompetence by a national security team with no respect for our nation’s most sensitive intelligence. How is Mike Waltz still serving? He must be fired or resign," complained Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA), the Select Committee on Intelligence ranking member.
"In the wake of the massive incompetence coming out of Speaker Johnson's office today, don't lose sight of the fact that Mike Waltz is ALSO incompetent and continues to present a massive security liability to the United States," complained Rep. Sean Casten (D-IL).
Former Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) turned to mockery, "Bad enough that Mike Waltz used Gmail for sensitive information. Now it turns out he’s also used an AOL account!"
