MSNBC's Chuck Todd hilariously mocks Mike Pence's executive overreach hypocrisy with 2014 attack on Obama video

MSNBC's Chuck Todd on Friday nailed Vice-President Mike Pence for blatant hypocrisy on the subject of executive overreach, with a clip of then-Governor Pence from 2014 attacking President Obama for bypassing Congress to protect DREAMers.

"I know irony died a long time ago," Todd joked. "Take a listen to the future vice president of the United States, right after Barack Obama issued an executive order."

"I think it would be a profound mistake for the president of the United States to overturn American immigration law with the stroke of a pen," Pence could be seen saying in a clip from a 2014 meeting of the Republican Governors Association.

Obama, Pence went on, "ought to sit down" with Republicans, saying "that's what leadership looks like."

"'That's what leadership looks like, work across the aisle, listen to Congress,'" Todd laughed. "That's what you have to do. That's what Governor Mike Pence said."
