MSNBC’s Mika turns to the camera to shame Chris Christie for sucking up to Trump with glowing ‘Time’ profile

MSNBC's Mika Brzezinski on Monday turned to the camera to directly shame Chris Christie for writing a glowing profile of President Donald Trump in TIME Magazine, saying the former New Jersey governor needed to decide if he was a traditional Republican or a creature from "Trump Land."

"Chris Christie on Donald Trump," Brzezinski asked. "Does he draw the line again and live in both worlds?"

"He does," admitted TIME editorial director Dan Macsai.

"Oh, my God, I've got to talk to him," Brzezinski replied, facing the camera and breaking the fourth wall. "I'll talk to him right now."

"Cut it out. It's one or another, you can't have both, not in this world," she scolded Christie. "There's Republicans, and there's Democrats and then there's Trump Land."

"You can't bring both sides together when there's this other weird side that we don't know what we're doing here," Brzezinski went on. "There's a lot of lies and misdeeds and untruths and un-American, unpatriotic, perhaps even treasonous things going on. You can't be on both sides of that, you've got to pick one. Chris, come on the show and talk about it."

"Depressing," she added.
