NBA owner Mark Cuban: I'd be Hillary's VP -- but Sanders has 'dragged her too far to the left'

NBA owner Mark Cuban told NBC News on Friday that he would be willing to be Hillary Clinton's running mate, provided she met one condition.

"The key would be that she'd have to go more to center," Cuban said to host Chuck Todd. "I like the fact that Senator Clinton has thought out proposals. That's a good thing, at least we get to see exactly where she stands."

However, he said, Sen. Bernie Sanders -- who is running against Clinton for the Democratic Party nomination -- "has dragged her a little bit too far to the left" on issues like college tuition and what he described as "business interests."

Cuban had previously joked that he would run alongside Clinton if he got the chance to "throw bombs" at Republican front-runner Donald Trump.
