Righter, a dating app that debuted earlier this year and is pitching itself as a conservatives-only alternative to Tinder, is getting brutally mocked online for being a dating safe space for frequently rejected Trump supporters.
In a tweet posted on Thursday morning, Righter asked people whether they've "ever been swiped left on a dating app because you are a Conservative," before encouraging them to "try Righter where being #MAGA makess you more attractive, not less." The post also contained a stock photo of a young woman being helped out of her car by a presumably conservative gentleman.
The tweet drew immediate ridicule, as many Twitter users said that the site looked like a magnet for "incels" -- that is, angry right-wing men who pride themselves in being involuntarily celibate.
