‘He should not have access to the nuclear codes’: Omarosa worries about Trump being ‘triggered’ by tweets

Former Trump administration official Omarosa Manigault Newman appeared on MSNBC's "Hardball" on Thursday to try and analyze President Donald Trump's attacks on the late Sen. John McCain (R-AZ).

"What is this?" Matthews asked.

"He's obsessed with McCain because he'll never be the hero McCain is," Newman replied.

Newman worked as director of African-American outreach during the Trump campaign and then joined the administration as director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison.

She also appeared on the first season of "The Apprentice" in 2004 and on "All-Star Celebrity Apprentice" in 2013.

"We're watching the third season of the Trump reality TV show and what happens in the third season is you turn the hero into the heel and you have a plot twist and he keeps repeating these themes over and over again," she explained. "And it's going to get more and more bizarre because he's not trying to become the best president, he's trying to be the best reality star and that's what we're seeing in this bizarre behavior from Donald Trump."

"You know what the problem is? It shows he's not stable and he really should not have access to the nuclear codes if a tweet can trigger him or even the thought of someone deceased can send him off the rails the way he is," she concluded.
