Notorious Trump-loving Islamophobe who posted 'accomplices' list whines when her identity is revealed

The person behind a notorious rightwing Twitter account has been identified by Huffington Post, and is not happy about it.

The @AmyMek account is known for its extremist positions, and for spinning wild conspiracies about Muslim rape gangs and trying to claim the Las Vegas shooter had professed an allegiance to Islam. The extremist account is followed by Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Sean Hannity and other Trumpistas.

Thanks to the HuffPo, we now know that the person tweeting behind it is Amy Jane Mekelburg.

“She’s a major cog in the Islamophobia machine,” Ibrahim Hooper, spokesman for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, told HuffPo.

In real life, Mekelburg is a vegan and fitness buff who has an unusual living arrangement with her husband, who was fired from WWE after his wife's activities came to light.

She also once made a list of "accomplices" to what she suggested was an Islamic plot to take over the United States—including people who were only vaguely connected with anything to do with Islam. Now, she is melting down and saying she's in danger.
