Of course! 'Fox & Friends' finds a way to blame Obama for Ariana Grande's unpatriotic donut licking

Outdoor channel host and former Miss Kansas Teresa Vail told Fox & Friends on Thursday that singer Ariana Grande could not be blamed for anti-American sentiments expressed in a controversial video because millennials had learned it from President Barack Obama.

Cell phone video published by TMZ earlier this week showed the pop star at a donut shop in New York City lick donuts that are sitting on a counter and then say, “What is the f*ck is that? I hate Americans. I hate America.”

Grande later apologized, suggesting that her comments had been about unhealthy eating habits in America.

"I am EXTREMELY proud to be an American and I’ve always made it clear that I love my country," Grande said.

On Thursday, Vail opined to Fox News hosts Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade that she was "disgusted" by Grande.

Kilmeade wondered how someone like Grande could "walk into a donut shop -- the donuts didn't come to her -- and then comment about America? Yet, you grew up in America, have a totally different view?"

"For the past six or seven years -- and that's a good chunk of a millennial's adult lifetime -- we've had a president who doesn't believe in American exceptionalism," Vail speculated. "He doesn't stand up for American values or the foundation this country was built on."

"So, can you blame millennials for theirs modicum of patriotism when for the majority of our adult lifetime we haven't witnessed anything to make to think differently?"

Doocy pointed out that Grande had also licked donuts that were on a counter and it was being investigated by the county health department.

"She has no sense of gratitude, no appreciation for her roots or the people that got her to where she is now," Vail agreed.
