Olbermann slams Trump's Puerto Rico visit: 'You don't need a psych degree' to know he doesn't think they're Americans

Those waiting for the post-Hurricane Maria devastation in Puerto Rico to "bring out the humanity" in President Donald Trump are, according to Keith Olbermann, wasting their time.

"There is no humanity there," he said during the introduction to Tuesday's installment of "The Resistance."

Because Trump's responses to Hurricanes Harvey and Irma weren't as abysmal, "there was something still holding many people back from acknowledging that this man's heart does not work," Olbermann claimed.

"That is gone now," he continued. "The dead, the dying, the displaced in Puerto Rico are now, evidently, to Trump, 'politically motivated ingrates."

"You don't have to have a psychology degree to translate" Trump's tweet claiming his "people aren't getting the credit they deserve," Olbermann said. "The Puerto Ricans are not Donald Trump's people -- only the first responders are."
