Experience: What counts?

I've already stated that I think Washington experience is overrated, so I'll admit up front that my personal opinions don't have a huge stake in this, but after reading the 15,000th Clinton-leaning piece of writing referring to Obama's "lack of experience", I decided to ask for some clarification.

The question at hand for Clinton supporters is: What, exactly, has Clinton done that gives her the "experience" edge, for you? What in her working past makes her more qualified for the Presidency?

These are questions of opinion, of course, and Obama supporters will no doubt wish to offer counter-examples (that's half the point of this post), but let's make sure that everything's respectful. And please, this is not the thread to discuss the campaigns' reliance-or-not on "-ism" of one kind or another.
