Republican claims 'quiet' caucus members are 'sick' of speaker drama

Rep. Mike Flood (R-NE) revealed that behind closed doors, the typically quiet members of the Republican caucus are over it.
Speaking to the conservative Washington Examiner, the GOP official explained that typically there are members who go along to get along, but now those members are growing impatient.
“You’re getting to the point now where the rank and file, the ones that are always on the team, are sick of it,” Flood said. “We want to see a change. And when you lose the people that sit quietly and want to be on the team ... and we’re sick of being tossed around like pinballs in this whole situation, then watch us vote present.”
Flood is the lawmaker who has been pressing for a so-called "unity" pledge, where the member with the most votes should get the support of all of the members. That hasn't worked out, however.
