REVEALED: Over two dozen major charities and companies have quit Trump's clubs over the past two years

President Donald Trump's assorted clubs have been taking a big hit over the past two years, as more than two dozen major charities and companies have stopped holding events at them in response to Trump's assorted controversies.

The Washington Post's David Fahrenthold has started making another one of his trademark lists, this time of organizations that have dropped Trump-branded clubs from their short lists of where they're willing to hold major events.

In total, Fahrenthold has documented 29 different entities that have dropped Trump clubs from their preferred event destinations, and the Washington Post reporter has divided the list up into three categories: Organizations that ditched Trump in 2015, ones that ditched him in 2016, and ones that ditched him in 2017 after his remarks on the white nationalist rallies in Charlottesville, Virginia.

What's particularly interesting is that the majority of organizations -- 19 out of the 29 documented by Fahrenthold -- left after Trump insisted that there were some "very fine people" marching alongside neo-Nazis and the KKK in Charlottesville last month. Among the charities to drop Trump's clubs were the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, and the American Cancer Society.

That said, Fahrenthold is still on the hunt for more organizations that have dropped Trump, as he suspects that additional ones stopped holding events at his organizations at various points during the 2016 presidential campaign.
