Right-wing truckers' group backs 'libtard'-hating police chief

Members of a group of truck drivers attempted to back away from a description of their upcoming protest involving threats of "citizens arrests" against lawmakers while also showing support for the Pennsylvania police chief who has been documented shooting at figures representing political leaders and talking about shooting a "libtard out of a tree."

In a statement released on Monday, organizers for the national "Ride For The Constitution" demonstrations referred to Gilberton Chief Mark Kessler as a "Constitutional Police Chief" who has been "battling the local, State [sic] and Federal [sic] government in a constitutional battle in direct retaliation for his outspoken stance on the Second Amendment," while encouraging supporters to attend a public hearing there on Oct. 10.

Kessler has been suspended since July 31 following the discovery of the videos, in which he shoots machine guns at dummies meant to portray House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Secretary of State John Kerry. He has also called Democrats "the most vile creatures in this country" and referred to a member of the press as a "Communist c*cksucker" for reporting on the videos. He has also accused members of the local borough council of engaging in a conspiracy to cost him his job.

Members of the group were also working to distance themselves from a U.S. News report on the protest, scheduled for Oct. 11, in which one participant, Earl Conlon, talked about indicting lawmakers through a "civilian grand jury" during the event, a series of general strikes in which participants shut their trucks down on major highways, including I-495, commonly known as the inner loop of the Washington, D.C. beltway.

"What we want to do is go in nice and peaceful and keep it as peaceful as possible," Conlon told U.S. News. "But if they decide to get ugly with us we're going to do what we have to do. If all I get is one or two congressmen walked out of there in handcuffs, that will be a shot across the bow that will ripple across all branches of government."

A statement on the Facebook page for the demonstrations said on Monday that Conlon was "advised" not to represent himself as a spokesperson for the entire event, which organizers called "the last peaceful defensive stand in a war that has been declared by Wall Street, Washington, and the Whitehouse [sic] upon the American people."

However, Conlon is referred to as being "in charge" of at least one of the protests by another organizer, Zeeda Andrews, in the comments section of the group's explanation for the protests. That post refers to President Barack Obama as "Barry Soetoro" and argues that "a legal investigation" proved that certificates revealing him to be a U.S. citizen were forgeries.

The group also argues that the Affordable Care Act provides "health care for illegal immigrants, free of charge" -- whichisnot true -- and accuses Obama's administration of violating the War Powers Act by, among other things, using the military to guard opium transactions inside an unidentified "War Zone" [sic] and asking the United Nations Security Council for authorization of military action, which it describes as "high treason."
