Trump lobs new attack against 'mental midget' Robert DeNiro in early-morning rant

Legendary actor Robert DeNiro unloaded on former President Donald Trump last week -- and Trump still appears furious about it.

Writing on his Truth Social platform Monday morning, the former president lashed out at DeNiro, the highly decorated actor who has won wide acclaim for his performances in movies ranging from "The Godfather Part II," "Taxi Driver," "Raging Bull," and "Goodfellas."

"Robert De Niro is a 'mental midget' whose mind is shot, and whose life is a total train wreck," he wrote. "Very much like Crooked Joe Biden, he can’t put two sentences together. The good news is that this crude and very stupid 'animal' has lost all credibility!"

DeNiro last week trashed Trump while speaking at the Gotham Awards in New York City, where he said that Trump "lied to us more than 30,000 times during his four years in office" and also said that Trump "attacks the weak, destroys the gifts of nature, and shows disrespect.”

"He’s keeping up the pace in his current campaign of retribution, but with all his lies, he can’t hide his soul," said DeNiro.

Trump has had a busy past several hours on Truth Social, as he has gone after not only DeNiro, but also President Joe Biden, former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and assorted other targets.
