Roger Stone's lying makes him a useless witness for Mueller -- it's his devices that lead to the truth: CNN political analyst

CNN political analyst Gloria Borger chuckled on Monday during a discussion of President Donald Trump's longtime associate Roger Stone, saying Robert Mueller was less interested in his testimony than what his devices might have to offer.

"I can't imagine that anyone would think Roger Stone would be a credible witness," Borger said. "Particularly after Mueller's office has just indicted him for lying for heaven's sakes."

Borger suggested the answer lay in the search investigators conducted of a storage unit owned by Stone earlier on Tuesday, during which they took various items.

"I think they want his devices. I think they want his information that he has and his cell phone, and his computers, and all kinds of things," she said. "I think Roger Stone per se is not somebody they would want."
