Rose McGowan reveals the real punishment Harvey Weinstein is facing in striking MSNBC interview

Hollywood activist Rose McGowan had both tears and smiles during an emotional interview with MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle on Friday, shortly after the arrest and arraignment of producer Harvey Weinstein.

In her memoir Brave, the #MeToo leader detailed allegations of rape by Weinstein.

"When you tweeted today, 'we got you, Harvey, we got you,' what does that mean?" Ruhle asked. "What does his punishment look like?"

"Shame," McGowan answered. "His punishment means the power being stripped away, his punishment means that he can't schedule times to rape women during the day, that he doesn't have his assistants any longer giving him his special medicine so he can actually go in and have -- he can go in and rape these women."

"His impotence medicine," the actress continued. "He had assistants he had to pay to give him his medicine for his penis so he could go in and rape at his daily appointments."

"When you say shame is his punishment, is that enough of punishment?" Ruhle asked. "Do you want to see him go to jail? Does he need to go to jail forever?"

"He should go to jail forever, he stole so many lives," McGowan argued. "The women, we're humans, we were taken, our lives were stolen."

Ruhle also asked if Weinstein could be redeemed.

"No, he's a sociopath," McGowan answered.
