Rosie O'Donnell accuses Trump of paying his rally-goers in fiery MSNBC interview

Comedian and multiple-time Donald Trump targetRosie O'Donnell appeared on MSNBC to talk politics— and took the president down a few notches in the process.

"What he does is denigrate the most vulnerable — and he considers women not equal to men and therefore, yeah, you can make fun of them and say that they're not appealing to you," O'Donnell told host Ari Melber. "As if women want to be appealing to him. As if women are walking around going 'Oh my God I'm so upset, Donald couldn't get it up for me!'"

"What, are you kidding me?" the comedian said in her trademark New York accent.

Later in the interview, O'Donnell expressed her sympathy for Trump's "unfair and inhumane" treatment of his base who she believes were duped into supporting him.

"That's what's heartbreaking," she said. "You see the people at these rallies — most of them paid to be there — screaming that he's right and letting all their racist, deep, dark, horrible corners of their soul flourish. It's so against everything American."
