'Run their ass over': Arkansas teacher refuses to apologize for threats against Black Lives Matter

An Arkansas teacher is refusing to apologize after she threatened to run over Black Lives Matter protesters for marching on a bridge in Memphis.

According to WREG, parents became upset after the Gosnell Elementary School teacher reacted in anger to Sunday's protest that shut down a bridge on I-40.

“Run their ass over and take them to jail,” she wrote on Facebook. “Y’all better thank the lord I’m not on the bridge because I would be shot acting a fool."

"Black lives matter well no shit all lives matter!!" the teacher continued. "This crap is on my nerves. If these people had jobs to go to I bet they would be protesting to bed instead of out acting like fools and not accomplishing a damn thing."

The teacher added that she would not be apologizing for the remarks: "Feel free to delete me."

The school district refused to confirm the identity of the teacher but said that the matter was being reviewed.

Mother Michelle Turner told WREG that the language was inappropriate for an educator.

“When you’re a teacher, you’re supposed to have grace," Turner said. "No matter what color your skin is, you have to have grace to even teach these babies."

“I don’t want someone with hatred in their heart to be teaching my children."
