Sarah Huckabee Sanders chokes up at press briefing after boy asks about being shot at school

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders struggled to hold back tears on Wednesday.

During a press briefing, a young boy asked her what the Trump administration was doing to prevent kids like himself from being shot to death a school.

"I think as a kid, and certainly as a parent, there is nothing that could be more terrifying for a kid to go to school and not feel safe," Sanders replied.

"So I'm sorry that you feel that way," she continued. "This administration takes it seriously, and the school safety commission that the president convened is meeting this week."
